For nearly a decade, the Jim Weimer Rod Garage has been
designing and manufacturing parts for the rodding industry.

Thousands of MII kits have been built in the Rod Garage.

Many other street rod parts such as chassis and suspension parts
have also been designed and manufactured in the shop as well.

We pride ourselves in offering the finest quality parts and delivering outstanding service.

Rules Of The Road

Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Registrations:

Legislation has been introduced in the Wisconsin Assembly to provide legal registration to hobby vehicles with a clear title, required safety equipment and in good working order. Under the bill, these registrations would be available to owners regardless of the vehicle's color, former owner or previous uses. Identical legislation has already been introduced in the Senate and will be considered in the Transportation Committee. The bills ensure that all vehicles, including ones that predate Federal Motor Safety Standards (FMVSS) or are specifically exempted from them, are not denied registration or forced into a highly restrictive registration class, for non-compliance with FMVSS. This includes pre-1968 vehicles, imports, kit-cars, government surplus vehicles, etc.

So-Cal Speed Shop

J. W. Rod Garage is proud to announce that the So-Cal Speed Shop in Pomona California is now stocking our 1932 Ford “Die Stamped” frame rails. 

These frame rails are made from 10 gauge steel. They are as close to original as you can get. The side reveal line is very sharp and distinct.

JW Rod Garage is now offering several fiberglass bodies and many individual parts.

Here is a current list of products:

1932 Ford Roadster Body

1932 Ford Coupe 3 window style with a 2 ½” chopped top

1934 Ford coupe  3 window style with a 3 ½” chopped top

1931 Ford  2 door Sedan  Filled roof

1933/34 Mopar Truck Cab.  Suicide doors

1963 Corvette Body with complete front  end

1923 Tee bucket body

We offer front and rear fender and running board packages for many of the above mentioned bodies.

Grille shells are also available for the ’32 & ’34 Ford bodies.

We are also making a fiberglass nostalgia carburetor scoop.

It measures 18” long with a oval front.  The base does not have any holes so you can fit it to a single or multiple carb set –up.

We also manufacture frames and rolling chassis for most of the above kits.

1949 - 1951 Mercury Stub

The JW Rod Garage is now manufacturing a Mustang II front clip for 1949 - 1951 Mercury's.

The new Mercury stub is manufactured out of 3/16" steel, TIG welded with the radiator cross member installed.

The Mercury clip is available as a stub only for $750.00 or a complete hub to hub kit for $1895.00

Coil over and air bag upgrades are also available.
